Hello friends below is the essay which i have written in my English Preliminary Exam and got 6/7.I have posted this on my blog on account of helping others if you do like it then please forward it to your friends.


The first computer was discovered by Charles Babbage which was wide as length of bus and it lasted for 6 seconds. Since then computer evolution started.............. Due to the advancement of technology and introduction to semi-conductors and transistors in the market the Computer Growth started. The popular personalities such as Bill Gates who was the CEO of Microsoft Corporation and Thomas John Watson, Jr. the first CEO of IBM(International Business Machines) both brought tremendous rise in evolution of computer market and development. Thomas John Watson, Jr. greatly focused on punch card computers. Bill Gates is known as "Father of computer revolution". The computer popularity started from 1980's among scientist and researchers, Most of the scientist used to publish their documents online by the use of computer the simple TCP/IP connection. Scientist and Computer Geeks started developing application for computers which would make the work simple for common man. Among people computer popularity began in 1990's, every family in the united stated had computer at that time. Computers helped people by giving them the art of creativity. People used to create application and used to share them. This also leaded to establishment of many software companies. Today eBay, amazon.com... are reputed because of their dedication to computer development and invention. At that time Computers demanded more memory as application needs to perform work quickly. This also led to rapid development in the computer hardware market. Popular programming languages such as "JAVA" was introduced after 1990's period.JAVA previously was referred as "OAK" which was a tree lying outside the developer house window. Java had a different taste than C, computer programmers loved it and it was served as open source developing platform by Sun Microsystems. PHP previously known as personal homepage tools which is extensively used in web development now a days was introduced in 1995 its initial version. In 21st century Computers got more advanced and fully user friendly due to hard work performed by programmers in 20th century. Since then in 21st century there was no need of special knowledge for handling computers as operating system were made user friendly, Even a little joe can operate a computer. We can see that after dot com bubble the companies who survived are at top today such companies are ebay, amazon. Now a day's every computer comes with a free bundled software package. The pre-installed applications in computer such as music player, video player entertains the computer user and some software makes the work easier for the IT professional. Such daily need software's are MS-Office, Open Office, PowerPoint for presentation...etc. In running days social networking has been so popular as the image of film stars, it provides platform for the people to get connected to their loved one's online. This small factor make computer as a great machine. Computer fit in small place at every home and every can afford it, one can Book his railway or airline tickets online, do blogging, search for knowledge or study related material. The non-profit organization Wikipedia founded by Jimmy Wales, provides free encyclopaedia that has been edited by millions of people around the world in many languages.
Now days you can connect your mobile phone to your computer can synchronize your important documents and data. With computer having an internet connection you share files online such as music,video,project files...etc. In the near future computer will be more advanced and handy, they will be more powerful than today, remember my words...
